Today, something delightful happened: I celebrated a birthday… and delivered a book.
Not the kind of delivery that takes nine months, but certainly the kind that grows in its own mysterious timeline—draft by draft, sketch by sketch, whisper by whisper—until one morning you wake up and realize the thing you’ve been nurturing has finally decided it’s ready to be born.
When Your Wires Get Crossed is officially out in the world today, exactly on my birthday, exactly as planned—a small, bright bundle of poems and illustrations stitched together from the journey of a nervous system that has zigged, zagged, and tangled, yet somehow keeps finding its way back to light.
This book isn’t advice. It’s a companion—soft, rhythmic, honest—for anyone who’s ever felt frayed at the edges or wondered if calm was something they had to earn. Spoiler: you don’t have to earn calm. But you can meet it halfway.
You can find the paperback on Amazon now, with the ebook coming later once the illustrations are digitally tucked in.
Thank you to everyone who has walked beside me, rooted for me, or waited patiently while this little project decided on its birthday. Today, I get to celebrate mine—and the newest member of my creative family.
Here’s to tangled wires, to new chapters, and to stories that arrive right on time.
